Simpson SPH6R 8-3/4" X 6-1/16" Heavy Duty Rough Stud Plate (100 Pack)
The SPH6R stud plate tie is a plate-to-stud connection providing uplift resistance. Ideal for connecting studs plates at a ninety degree angle to provide additional support. Stud plate ties are suitable for windy environments as the reinforced stud plates are protected from being pulled apart by high winds from hurricanes, tornados, etc. This unit is installed to secure either wall to top track or wall to bottom track studs and provides support from uplift resistance caused by wind. Designed for connecting heavy duty studs to plate tie. Intended for use with rough cut lumber.
